Craig Ananin – Freelance Event Manager

I am a freelance event manager operating from South Wales with extensive experience of managing events of all types.

Most recent event management experience comes from six years working for Tŷ Hafan, one of Wales largest charities, running the events team and all aspects of an events department. Integrated into a multi-departmental organisation, organising a variety of internal and external events across Wales with a very high profile.

Highly experienced in concept generation, feasibility studies, strategy, marketing and public relations, logistical operations, event planning, team management, risk assessing, budget control and on the day management.

Other experience includes projects for Mack-Brooks Exhibitions, an international exhibition organiser and the Association of Exhibition Organisers, the trade body that represents exhibition and now event companies. I have also worked as an Events Manager on two short term contracts for the Celtic Manor Resort.

I have gained a wide variety of experience over the past 8 years, ranging from organising staff conferences, multi-site outdoor events for members of the public, gala dinners raising funds for charity or organising private receptions for HRH Prince Charles at his private home in Wales or Welsh Assembly members at the Senedd as well as having the opportunity of working with most major companies throughout South Wales. I also have a BA (Hons) Events Management (2003) degree from the UK Centre for Events Management at Leeds Metropolitan University so have a combination of event skills, knowledge and experience that could help you, your organisation or group.
